We want you to enjoy volunteering, and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.
New Volunteer Roles Available
We currently have regular volunteering opportunities available. These roles are for individuals who can make an ongoing commitment and would like to provide consistent support. All volunteers must be aged 16 or over.
One Off Volunteering opportunities
Our one off volunteering opportunities are NOW open. This includes opportunities for individuals aged 16 and over, as well as those volunteering through corporate or workplace give back programmes.

Click here -Tesco Bromley Foodrive – One off event
Location: Tesco Bromley – Homesdale Road, Bromley, BR1 2UE
Hours: Choose 2 hour shifts between 12-6pm
Date: Thursday 23 April and Friday 24 April
About the one off event  Greeting customers in Tesco Bromley with shopping lists or accepting donations, youâll be playing a vital role in supporting people facing hardship in your community.

Hours: Every Monday, 10:00âŻââŻ13:00
About the Role We are looking for a friendly and caring volunteer to join our team as a Centre Packer. In this role, you will help prepare food parcels for people visiting our foodbank. Youâll work from our packing lists and make sure each parcel is packed with care. You will be part of a supportive team, and weâll give you full training. There is also the chance to learn more about the computer side of serving clients if youâd like.

Hours:Â Flexible, to support ambassador visits and store engagement
About the Role We are looking for two friendly and organised volunteers to support our existing team of supermarket ambassadors, one in Orpington and one in Bromley. In this role, you will help ensure our supermarket collection points run smoothly by assisting ambassadors with maintaining strong relationships with local stores and communicating how each store supports the foodbankâs work.
It is ideal if volunteers are able to support a supermarket that is close to where they live, making it easy and convenient to travel to the store.

About the Role
As a Customer Service and Fuel Bank Voucher Volunteer, you will respond to voicemail messages from members of the public who are seeking food and practical support, including referrals to the Fuel Bank. You will provide a polite, caring, and supportive response to people in need.This role would suit someone who is confident using a computer, able to listen carefully, and comfortable speaking with people who may be in difficult situations.
When & WhereÂ
Day:Â Every Friday
Time: 10:00am to 3:00pm
Location: Home based, so you will need access to a computer and a phone.
