Partner with us
Your business, community group or organisation could help us make a real difference in the local community.
On this page:
The support of local and national organisations is vital to the running of our food bank. We’d love your organisation to help us tackle poverty right here in Bromley.
By getting involved, you're not just helping out, you're joining a wider community effort to support people through hunger and hardship.
Ways your business can make an impact
There are many ways your business can help, whether through volunteering, fundraising, or sharing your expertise:
- Support us with service provision or offer your expertise.
- Organise a fundraising event: Raise money to support the Foodbank’s supermarket voucher scheme, advice services, or to purchase stock when food donations are low. Every pound you raise ensures our services continue year-round, supporting local families when they need us most.
- Sponsor or donate equipment: Help us maintain the day-to-day running of the Foodbank with much-needed tools and resources.
- Hold a team-building day with impact: Bring up to 6 colleagues to our warehouse! Sort stock, support with a small donation in kind, and enjoy a meaningful day working together. Let’s make it unforgettable!
- Share their workplace skills: Ask your staff to offer their professional expertise to help our volunteers operate more effectively.
- Run a food drive: Collect essential items at your office or store. We can provide a collection bin, posters, a “most needed” list, and help schedule donation pickups.
- Create a customer donation scheme: Encourage customers to round up their bills and donate directly to Bromley Borough Foodbank.
- Pledge to our Christmas Match Funding Campaign: In partnership with the Big Give, businesses can pledge funding to create a match funding pot that doubles online donations during December. Your support will be recognised locally and helps us maximise donations.
- Bring your own ideas to life: This list is just a starting point! If you see an opportunity to improve our services or raise awareness about our work, we’d love for you to get creative.
Ways your place of worship can make an impact
Bromley Borough Foodbank is now part of Acts 435, an online giving platform that connects people in need with donors through local churches and charities.
Through Acts 435, specific requests can be posted for essential items and support, including:
- 🛋️ Furniture
- 🔌 White goods
- 📚 Educational support
- 🥘 Food
- 🚇 Travel
- 🔋 Electronic equipment
A church or charity “Advocate” posts the request online, and donors can choose to directly fund it, meaning 100% of donations go straight towards meeting that need. Through this partnership, we’re able to offer another practical route of support for people we work with, helping to bridge small but significant gaps at times when they matter most.
We’d love to invite local churches, faith groups and places of worship to consider signing up as Acts 435 partners. There’s no pressure – just an opportunity to be part of a simple, direct way of helping someone in your community when they need it most.
