It has been a very busy year so far for people having to use the Foodbank and shows no signs of slowing. We are seeing a large number of clients for the first time who never imagined having to come to us.
Please, I urge you not to be worried about contacting us, we are here to help and if we can give you one less thing to worry about then we are happier.
Our volunteers are amazing people and clients always mention how they are felt at ease due to the nature of the volunteers and the information in terms of where further help can be obtained. Many of our clients come back and help us either physically or via donations once they are back on their feet.
We have a busy time ahead with the summer holidays looming. Keep an eye on our Facebook page as we will be posting details of free events across the borough to entertain the children.
We are a community and we need to look after each other. No one should suffer alone.
