Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Thanks to all our volunteers for generously giving their time and energy!

Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.


We have the following vacancies available:

Data Protection Officer

As the food bank Data Protection Officer, you will be monitoring and improving how we handle data, ensuring we are following all the current guidelines to keep data safe and accessible only to those who require it.

Centre Team Leader

This role will take place on a Friday from 12:30-15:30 and is a front of house role, engaging with clients and assisting them with their signposting needs, whilst fulfilling their vouchers and ensuring the team is able to provide a great service to those who need our support.

Warehouse Cleaner

We are looking for a friendly Cleaner to take care of our facilities’ basic cleaning duties as part of our warehouse team. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition for our lovely warehouse volunteers.

Home Office Administrator

As a Foodbank administrator, you will help play an important role in the smooth running of the food bank. You will be responsible for monitoring and answering voice mail and email messages.  Your support will make a real difference in people’s lives as you will help to maintain the high level of help and support being offered to people in crisis in your community.
