Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.
We have the following vacancies available:
Foodbank Centre Assistant As a Foodbank centre assistant you will play a vital role to our food bank ensuring that we are meeting the demand for our services by packing the food parcels ready for collection or delivery, as well as providing help and support to people in crisis in the local community.
Foodbank Centre Cleaner As a cleaner you will take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and basic maintenance duties to keep our building safe and clean as well as ensuring we are adhering to COVID-19 cleanliness standards.
Signposting Coordinator As a signposting coordinator you will play a vital role to our food bank ensuring that we are meeting the demand for our services, providing help and support to people in crisis in the local community.
Delivery Driver We need help to deliver food directly to clients. Drivers and assistants are needed to go in pairs to pick up food from the food bank and deliver it to clients’ homes.
